Millie is a little mouse with a big heart and a special message:
You are magic! You are loved! You are brave!
You can read all about Millie's adventures and her friends in the three picture book stories: Millie's Magic, Millie's Rainbow and Brave Millie. There are extra tiny mice to find on each page of the story and some fun activities at the end of the books too!
Check them out on the books' pages or on Amazon sites. There are paperback, hardcover, kindle and audio versions of all the stories.
Make a card activity:Make your own special message cards with card and colouring pencils or paints. Cut out a piece of card about the size of a postcard.Ask a grown-up to help you use scissors. Draw or paint your own pattern on one side then write your own special message words like the ones below.
Special message words can help make us feel stronger and more confident. They help to remind us that we are great! You can keep your special message cards or give them to someone as a present!

About the author:
Hilary Hawkes wrote the Millie stories as part of the Story Therapy project for children. Hilary has been writing for children all her life and has been published by different UK publishers.
About the illustrator:
Andrea Petrlik is an internationally awarded artist from Croatia. She created the illustrations for the Millie stories and also published Croatian editions of the stories through her publishing business Kasmir Promet.
